Install Domain Controller 2012 with Powershell

Step 1: Install Active Directory Domain Services

Install-windowsfeature -name AD-Domain-Services

If using a server with a GUI add “-IncludeManagementTools” to the end of the above line.

Step 2:

Import -Module ADDSDeployment

Install -ADDSDomainController `
-NoGlobalCatalog:$false `
-CreateDnsDelegation:$false `
-Credential (Get -Credential) `
-CriticalReplicationOnly:$false `
-DatabasePath “C: \Windows \NTDS” `
-DomainName “nuggetlab.com” `
-InstallDns:$true `
-LogPath “C: \Windows \NTDS” `
-NoRebootOnCompletion:$false `
-SiteName “Default -First -Site -Name” `
-SysvolPath “C: \Windows \SYSVOL” `
-Force:$true
